The Golden Rule
Matthew7: 12 “Do for others what you would like them to do for you. This is a summary of all that is taught in the law and the prophets.
The Great Commandment (Matthew 22:37-40)
Remember that the Great Commandment was given by Jesus in response to a question. One day Jesus was asked to identify the most important command. his response was condensed to two task: love god with all your heart, and love your neighbor as yourself.
The Great commission (Matthew 28:19-20)
His last words to His disciples, Jesus gave the Great Commission to them and assigned three more task: go and make disciples,baptizing them,and teaching them to observed all Jesus commanded.
It is possible to say the right things, to be very busy and active and achieve wonderful results, and yet not give you to the Lord, and that is finally the greatest insult we can offer to God. What can be a greater insult says Lloyd Jones , than to say Lord Lord, be busy and to be active and hold summation from Him, to insist to control our own lives, and allow our own option and arguments rather than Scripture to control what we do and how we do it, this is the greatest insult of all to the Lord."
The Great commissiondoes not say, “Come and sit!” It says, “Go… and tell.”Let me pray today, in your most Holy Name, for those who have fallen asleep to Your Word to wake up, to make sure that those around me have heard about You and have had the chance to receive You, and then let me go out and ignite a fire of evangelism for You that will burn brightly.
