Being born again. Regeneration is a secret act of God in which He imparts (implants) new spirit life to us.
WE are Born again Christians
This term comes from Jesus’ conversation with Nicodemus. Jesus told him, “No one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again.” Nicodemus thought Jesus meant a second physical birth, but Jesus meant a spiritual rebirth. Jesus went on to say, “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16, NIV). Thus, the term means the act in which the Holy Spirit gives eternal life to a person dead in sin.
Born again . A sinner receiving new life from God (jn 3:1-16) and being born into God’s family (jn 1:12-13). This life is received by trusting Jesus Christ (jn 3:7-16;1:12
1jn 5:1 .People are born again by hearing and believing the Gospel of Jesus Christ(1Cor.4:15; Ja. 1:18) .
It is the Holy Spirit who imparts this new life (Ti, 3:5 1 Co.6:11).
Those who are born again have eternal inheritance and are, completely changed by the indwelling Spirit (2 Cor.5:17; 1 Jn 3:14).
Others terms referring to the new birth are “born of the Spirit” (Jn.3:5,6,8). “born of God” (1Jn 3:9;4:7;5:1,4,18), “new creature”(2Co5:17; Ga 6:15), Washing of regeneration” (Tit.3:5), new man” (Ep.4:24;Col.3:9), Spirit gives eternal life to a person dead in sin. .

Salvation is entirely an act of God’s will.This does not negate a person’s responsibility to repent and trust Christ.
The second a truly repentant sinner places his trust entirely in Christ as Lord and Savior, he is regenerated, justified, sanctified, and secured. Regenerated- the work of the Holy Spirit to give divine nature and divine life Justification- God declares the repentant sinner righteous (no longer guilty) *Sanctification- declared holy and set apart by God (positional and instantaneous) Security- all who have been saved are kept by God’s power and are forever secure in Christ *Sanctification at salvation is positional. Sanctification is also a process by which a saved person becomes more and more like Christ as they grow and mature in the faith. The life of a saved person will produce fruits resulting from salvation. This means that you become more Christ-like every day. The fruits are seen in your conduct, your character, your conversation and your choices. They will reflect how different you are than a person who is unsaved. Your life will be characterized more by mercy, love, hatred of sin, love of God, love of His Word, fellowship with believers, moral and ethical decisions about everything you do. A person who believes he is saved but whose life reflects continual, habitual sin, hatred, disregard for God's word, lack of fellowship, and is generally unrepentant, is NOT SAVED but self-deceived.
The belief that does not save is the belief that does not change the person who believes. Jesus said that if you believe in Him, you would be changed
