I searched for so long
Where could he be?
The man called Jesus
From Galilee
No peace for me until I can find
Who points the true way
I can’t read their mind
Each prophet is fervent
And their words sound so true
How can I tell which of many
Will help me get to You?
But then one day I got an understanding
A great peace came over me
My heart now knows where Jesus is
And knowing has set me free
Now when asked if I am saved and can you show me the way?
All I have to say to them
Is let your heart be at peace
It will show you the way
If you can feel the peace
Then you will know for sure
That the Lord is in your heart
The real One, True and Pure
You will know the answer to be
